11月27日中午，初中英语国际课程特色项目英语角活动在宽敞、明亮的国际展厅举行。本次“英语角”活动由外籍教师 Mr.Page策划并主持。主题为：不同国家的学校午餐饮食文化。初中国际项目负责人张丽君主任、初中国际项目外籍教师Miss Emily、Miss Tamara、Mr.Robert以及初一9班和初三9班全体英语国际课程特色班学生参加了本次活动。

活动伊始，Mr. Page首先向同学们说明了本次英语角活动的目的和意义和英语角与常规课堂的不同之处，然后学生在Mr. Page和Mr. Robert的示范交流下自由进行自我介绍的破冰活动，同学们迅速地融入到英语交流环境中。

接着Mr. Page展示了用英语说绕口令的方法——通过打拍子练习英语节奏，同学们在互动过程中大声练习以求找到自己的最快速度。本次活动的最精彩的部分要数当Mr.Page通过视频引出不同国家的学校午餐食物，同学们纷纷畅所欲言，整个交流过程中，同学们充分了解了各自对不同国家文化食物的观点和看法。在轻松愉悦的氛围中，同学们全程用英文进行组内讨论。在此过程中，所有参与外教和英语教师们积极的融入学生们的小组讨论中，帮助他们扩宽思路、答疑解惑，辅导学生用英语进行表达，鼓励不同层次的学生进行不同语言能力表达的方式。

活动最后，初中国际项目负责人张丽君主任对本次英语角活动进行了详细的总结和建议，并对同学们提出了期望，之所以在国际展厅举行英语角活动，是期望同学们在英语交流活动中培养国际视野和国际理解能力，最终通过自己的勤奋学习能走向世界并把祖国的优良传统和文化传递给世界各地。

通过本次英语角活动，体现了初中英语国际特色班学生们浓厚的英语学习氛围，拉近了学生与中外籍教师之间的距离，为同学们提供了施展口语才华、互相交流学习的平台，相信在这样的语言氛围下，英语国际特色班的学生们一定能体验到英语学习的美妙，更为重要的是，让英语这门工具语言能都真正的走入学生的生活，成为他们终身受用的宝贵财富。

Hello, my name is Emma. I am a Class9 Grade9 student who studies in BFLS this year. I love English Corner very much. I think English Corner is a good way to learn English, we meet new friends and we can improve our speaking by talking teachers and schoolmates. We can also play with many interesting game and watching films in there .I can have a great fun there that’s why I am always in the English Corner. I hope to know more friends there !!!!

Hello I am Sofia from Class 9, Grade 7. I am so excited to take part in the English Corner organized by our foreign teachers. It is such a good opportunity that I can talk with English teachers and get to know about the food culture in different countries. I can also improve my speaking ability by communicating with native speakers in English. I really look forward to next English Corner activity.
