Schooling Adventures in Australia

我们到澳洲三个月了，在这些日子里，我意识到黑利伯瑞高中时多么棒的一所学校，所有的老师都很友好。因为学校实行走班制，不同的学科在不同的楼里，刚开学，老师和其他同学经常帮助我们找教室。课堂上，老师怕我们听不懂，特意放慢语速，也会重复对学习有用的重要信息，帮助我们理解。他们不仅关心我们的学习，也关心我们的生活。

We have been inAustralia about three months. During these days, I realized how fantastic Haileybury is. Every teacher was friendly when we just went to Haileybury. They helped us to find our classroom, repeated the important information which was useful to us.

学校在管理留学生方面非常有经验，活动非常丰富，我们很快就认识了50几个留学生，他们来自中国其他城市、马来西亚、韩国、日本、越南等国家。学校给学生充分的时间进行体育和文体活动。每年都有“国际留学生表演”，我们在一起设计和组织各种表演，比如舞蹈、歌唱、钢琴、中国功夫等。在参与的过程中，可以学到很多东西。只要你有想法，大家就鼓励你去实践。今年，我和其他留学生自编自导了一个舞蹈节目，在活动中，我的英语也得到很大提高，我必须用英语和同伴交流，因为他们都不是中国人。在表演后，大家更熟悉了。

This school is expert about how to manage international students because there are about 50 international students that I knew. For example there are students who are Chinese, Malaysian, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese and so on. They care not only your study but also your life. We have international performance which is only for international students every year. For example, dancing, singing playing the piano, Chinese Kongfu... as long as you can, you can do anything in the international extravaganza. You can learn lots of things when you take part in. I danced with other international students this year. My English was improved. I need to lean how to use English to communicate with each other because some of my partner are not Chinese. And we had good relationship with each other after this performance.

每天放学后留学生都在一起自习，如果作业有问题，可以互相帮助。学校每周也会邀请本校的毕业生来和我们交流，帮助我们适应学校的生活。We have after school study every day. If you have any questions about your homework or any questions about study, you can ask some people who are already graduated from Haileybury but invited to go back to school every week to help other students. Sharing ideas and helping each other learn makes studying easy and fun!
